A FOREIGN GOD

Jonathan Hughes is an independent filmmaker from Leeds, England.​

 

Between 2011 and 2014, Jonathan enjoyed a successful time studying a BSc in Film and Television Production at The University of York. During this period, he worked on various short films and projects at the university's fantastic facilities at Heslington Studios.   Jonathan has experience operating cameras including the Sony F3, RED One and Epic, Panasonic HPX170 and Varicam, and various DSLR. He also has a knowledge of software including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Pro Tools and Autodesk Smoke.

 

The last film Jonathan worked on A Man Sinking was funded through crowdfunding website Kickstarter, raising a total of over £4000 and attracting celebrity/filmmaker attention on social media sites. Jonathan was the Director of Photography for the short, and will be aiming to replicate this success for A Foreign God which will also be funded through crowdfunding.
